Transformer Category

FME Workbench has transformers grouped into several standard categories. A transformer category is a user-defined category into which any combination of existing transformers can be placed. For example, a user can create a "favourites" category, or a category containing a set of transformers to be used for a particular project.

A custom category can be exported as a .FMXLIST_file. When used in this way a transformer category can become a Shared Resource, available for many users to have similar transformer groupings in Workbench.
