Overview
KML is an exciting new format for encoding and transporting geospatial data for display in an earth browser. Initially only used by Google, KML has become an important format used by many web and desktop geospatial applications.
New in 2008
FME first supported KML and Google Earth in FME 2005, and each subsequent release has added new support for generating and consuming KML data. FME 2008 includes the following new features:
