Functions and Factories Manual

The FME Functions and Factories Manual (previously known as the Functions, Factories and Transformers manual) is a reference manual for all FME Functions and Factories. Functions and Factories are the building blocks for FME tools such as Transformers, and can be used directly within a Mapping File.

The Functions and Factories Manual is useful because it provides a lot of specific information on the underlying functionality that a transformer makes use of; information that may not be published under the help topic for a transformer.

The Functions and Factories Manual can be found within the help system of FME Workbench by choosing Help > FME Workbench Help from the menubar, or online either as part of the online documentation (http://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FFT/fft.htm) or as a PDF file (ftp://ftp.safe.com/fme/docs/FFT.pdf).
